Hazel Osunde, the half Nigerian and German creative behind the Eki Orleans label has let the public get a feel of what the label’s ss2011 collection will be from the 3 images released earlier this week. I loving the strong colors and prints, the ruffles and twists are also interesting. Can’t wait to see the collection in full.

LPM September Issue

LPM Co-Owners, Wonu Odunsi and Isoken Ogiemwonyi bring their wealth of talent and experience to this special showcase, and are introducing a new feature this month - ‘LPM LOOT’. Adapted from the ‘haul’ video concept, we will be giving both our shoppers a chance to tell us about their LPM Experience, share their purchases and our vendors to talk about their products and services.

 

This section will be presented by FAB magazine Junior Fashion Editor Terence Sambo (me), celebrity model Nicole Chukwueke and Rhythm OAP Toke Makinwa. Another exciting feature of this market is the exclusive style story that will be styled and shot on location at this LPM by Miss Nigeria Official Stylist Bolaji Animashaun. She’ll be styling a few models AND a few lucky members of the public!

15 yrs to 45

-To what goals does he or she aspire?

He/she is a suave business executive, an entertainment expert, a society person. He cares a lot about his looks. He wants to be seen as stylish. Above all, he loves looking sharp and smart.

-How much does she earn?

He or she is successful enough to buy a Clemas piece and should feel good after the purchase.

-Where does he/she shop?

He/she shops where ever he would find quality and class.

-What does he/she already wear?

He/ she is not particular about labels and brands. Fit style and comfort matters most.

-What is he/she not being offered?

He/she at the moment most times has issues with getting clothes that fit. He/she is original and most times wants to translate this originality into what she wears but no one to do that for her.

-How do you intend to meet these wants?

Clemas Tailoring is a mostly a men’s tailoring outfit with a few items made in smaller sizes for women. The outfit is 10 years old and run by head tailor Clement Effanga. The image above is that of Seun the face Clemas.

MARTWAYNE (Get Familiar)

Temitope Williams the designer behind new label MARTWAYNE got her first degree in Economics from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife and later added a diploma in Management and Image consulting in Australia and the UK respectively. She got her BA in fashion design from Future Excellence Design Institute of South Africa (FEDISA) earlier this year and has since then returned to Nigeria to set up her consulting and design studio. She also showed at the Lagos Fashion Week that was part of the Black Heritage Showcase.

My Clarks Shoulder Bag

The spirit of material consumption almost never departs the mind of a fashion Blogger. Lord alone knows how much I’ve acquired in the past few weeks but this Clarks shoulder bag is one of my darlings. Got it at my roadside retailer’s stand and im still loving it. Will try to document all my recent purchases overtime on here….P.S: today’s my birthday, maybe a lil shopping will not be bad :o)
